We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Agricultural commodities market analyst for our Oilseeds desk
You will contribute to our analysis of European and global markets for oilseeds and oilmeals as part of the wider Stratégie grains team
The role
- Producing production, demand and trade forecasts for oilseeds, and oilmeals at European and world levels. The analyst will use Tallages existing forecasting and data management tools, as well as collecting data from contacts on the ground and in companies, from official bodies, press agencies, via the internet, in seminars and using bibliographical research
- Participating in writing our monthly Stratégie grains Grain Report and Oilseeds Report, and contributing to the news updates on our website www.strategie-grains.com
- Participating in the specific missions and studies we undertake for our clients
The profile
With training as an agronomist or agricultural engineer, you will preferably have 3 to 5 years experience in market analysis or in the agricultural or agro-industrial sectors.
The role requires:
- good writing skills
- strong interpersonal skills(especially on the telephone when seeking information or speaking with clients)
- a natural curiosity, strong analytical skills, a rigorous approach
- an interest in using IT tools
- fluent (spoken and written) French and English
The role offers the possibility of further development within our team, as well as within the AgriBriefing group
We are offering a permanent contract with management level status
Office location: Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne (77), 45 mn train journey from Paris-Gare de Lyon
We offer the possibility of working from home for up to three days a week
Start date: as soon as possible
Salary: commensurate with experience and profile
